BALLISTIC ARMOUR MOT SERVICE

First Defence Ltd is aware of the importance that body armour is thoroughly checked on a regular basis during or after deployment worldwide, to validate the armours continued safe use in the field.

Excessive wear and tear, accidental damage and out of date kit will have an impact on the performance of any armour supplied, which may not be easily identified by the user. First Defence now offer clients the opportunity to have body armour and helmets physically checked by experts in the body armour industry.

This servicing model ensures that the body armour and helmets remain fit for purpose and those that are fit, are returned. This peace of mind reduces the financial burden of replacing entire kits when only parts may need to be replaced, at a fraction of the cost.

First Defence makes the process simple and can arrange for body armour to be checked on site and in country. It is assessed using visual and physical checks and a full condition report is provided and recommendations are made to the continued use of each component part of kit.

NIJ 0101.06 UK MANUFACTURED BALLISTIC ARMOUR

First Defence Ltd is proud to present our new range of UK manufactured, NIJ 0101.06 certified, high quality ballistic armour for law enforcement, military and civilians worldwide.

Our range of ballistic vest’s are manufactured from the highest quality materials, including woven aramide, unidirectional high performance polyethylene, and hybrids. We obtain a minimum weight at a high level of protection. Our vests can be worn comfortably covertly under a shirt or jacket, or overtly over clothing.

Our bullet-resistant and stab-protective vests defend against all threat levels and are manufactured, fully tested and certified to the meet the latest UK, US, and EU ballistic armour standards.

First Defence Ltd also provide a body armour MOT service that gives our clients piece of mind with regards to the condition of their armour. We make the process simple and can arrange for body armour to be collected. It is then assessed with visual and physical checks and a full condition report is produced for the client.
